Call for Research Position; Graduate Assistant or Research Assistant for Summer 2024 / Fall 2024: The WindCraft Project.
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Research Assistant (RA) to join our interdisciplinary project, WindCraft, team at the Hi-DARS lab. Candidates can have a background in Civil Engineering, Mechanical engineering, or Architecture, with a keen interest in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and wind simulation. Additionally, candidates with a passion for advanced manufacturing technologies such as 3D printing and computational design will be given preference.

As part of the Digital Technology: Community and Urbanism session at the ACSA (Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture) 112th Meeting in Vancouver, Associate Professor Dr. Sina Mostafavi presented the paper titled "FabriCity-XR: A Phygital Lattice Structure Mapping Spatial Justice – Integrated Design to AR-Enabled Assembly Workflow." The paper is presented on behalf of co-authors Assistant Professor Dr. Asma Mehan, Ph.D. student Edgar Montejano, and student assistants Cole Howell and Jessica Stuckemeyer.
